The third official NASA insignia is a modern, simplistic emblem. It features a flame red continuous script lettering which simply reads "NASA". Unofficially, it has become known as the NASA "Worm". This emblem has been replaced with the NASA vector design as the official logo, but this logo is seeing a comeback and is featured on NASA's new SLS Rocket.
