The Space Shuttle Program emblem is only one of two triangular shaped designs of the entire Official NASA Space Emblem Collection (the other being the Apollo 8 insignia). It graphically features the Space Shuttle in its pre-launch configuration. Its simple, yet elegant design, recognized the thousands of persons and hundreds of companies associated with the Space Shuttle Transportation System (STS)Program.
