The Boeing Bee Nose Art sign is hand made in the USA on heavy gauge American Steel and features the nose art on the Museum's B-17F Flying Fortress, Serial Number 42-29782. This aircraft was built in February 1943 just up the street where Boeing's Plant II once stood and is now on display in the Museum's Aviation Pavilion.
The sign measures approximately 15 x 15 inches and has two small holes with brass grommets for easy mounting.
