This patch was created to celebrate NASA's new mission of going back to the Moon and then on to Mars. The stylized "A" in the middle represents the Artemis Program and is made to look like a gateway. NASA will use the Artemis Program to return us to the Moon and to use the Moon as the gateway to Mars.
